Mama Ngina is the ostrich that comes round to visit a few times a week from the airstrip where she lives, 2km away. The hornbills, of whom Junior is our favorite, visit the mess often while the birdbath attracts weavers, queleas, golden bellied starlings, bablers, ravens, parrots and agamas.
